ASSOCIATE PRODUCT DESIGN ENGINEER
We are seeking an experienced team member to join our engineering and product development team. Candidates are sought with at least two years’ experience, in the field of engineering and developing consumer and medical products, working on all aspects of the product development life cycle, from development strategies, through fast-fail prototypes, engineering concept development, and ultimately designing complex assemblies in collaboration with electronics engineers and industrial designers to create complete engineering packages for manufacturing. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned project manager and team player, managing strict project timelines, budgets and resources, and be experienced in creating and delivering polished presentations to clients. Team members flourish should enjoy times of pressure and the opportunity to wear many different hats in a highly collaborative, creative studio that believes in creating the very best.
Preferences:
A minimum of a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or Product Design Engineering
Consulting and Agency Experience is highly preferred Candidates must demonstrate aptitude for rapid creation of innovative mechanical/mechanism solutions
Highly experienced with SolidWorks best practices in solid modelling, surface modelling, assemblies, drawings and design for manufacture
Client-facing, project management is highly preferred
Familiar with all common prototyping and manufacturing materials and processes
Experience with medical product development a plus
DESIGNER
We are seeking talented and passionate professionals to work in our high-energy environment. You will inspire and direct our collaborative efforts with your creative and emotionally engaging contributions, design innovations, prototyping, visualization, and planning of design deliverable
INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
We’re always looking for top design and business talent, and regularly select interns to work in: industrial design, engineering, graphic design, research, strategy, business development, marketing and operations.
Regardless of your background and level of experience, you can expect to be challenged in a new way every day. One day you could be building a prototype and coordinating suppliers oversees. Another day you could be brainstorming a new concept for a product or joining a client call.
Lastly, and most importantly, we understand you're looking for experience, not necessarily a forever home. Hopefully the fit would be great for both parties and a full-time opportunity could emerge!
